The American Indian Community Housing Organization's AICHO Galleries is hosting Duluth (Minnesota's) first ever Indigenous Beadwork Group Exhibition from October 9, 2020 - January 8, 2021. There are 29 exhibiting beadwork artists from 14 Tribal Nations. The show was curated by Wendy Savage, Fond du Lac Band of Ojibwe tribal member and lifelong artist and coordinated by Ivy Vainio, Grand Portage Band of Ojibwe direct descendant. This art exhibition is made possible in part by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from Arrowhead Regional Arts Council, thanks to appropriations from Minnesota State Legislature’s General Fund.
