Our New Tomorrow
Our New Tomorrow is an art exhibit featuring artwork focused on themes of change individually and universally. We have all seen the effects of a global pandemic and protests for social change over the past several months in our country and the world. The artwork in this exhibit showcases how these shifts in our day-to-day lives have affected us personally and as a community. This exhibit will continue to grow over the month of September, 2020, and is being held in conjunction with the Kansas Art Therapy Association’s 41stannual conference, “Virtually Together.” The pieces included in this show were created by different people of different backgrounds—professional art therapists, students of art therapy, professional artists, and amateur artists—all of whom have come together to share their experiences visually.
Please tour this gallery and click on each image to read the accompanying artist statement and artist biography. While this exhibit is being sponsored by an art therapy organization, the art pieces in the show do not reflect the Kansas Art Therapy Association as a whole.
