"The Show Must Go On" celebrates the opening of Steven Vail Fine Art's new location at 1501 Walnut in Des Moines, Iowa. This inaugural exhibition features a body of work by a cross-section of artists whom SVFA has represented over the past several decades. The show includes works in edition by Joe Andoe, John Baldessari, Ross Bleckner, Jonathan Borofsky, Andy Burgess, Karin Davie, John Giorno, Alex Katz, Ellsworth Kelly, Bruce Nauman, Laure Prouvost, Beverly Semmes, Donald Sultan, and Richard Tuttle. The gallery relocation continues a narrative in the quarter-century history of the gallery, having occupied spaces at 316 Southwest 5th, The Financial Center, The Historic Teachout Building, and now in the Fitch Building through expansions and relocations. Please feel welcome to make an appointment to visit us at 1501 Walnut Street in downtown Des Moines to experience the exhibition in person. Masks for groups of 4 or less will be furnished and our facility is routinely sanitized. If you like the digital image, you will LOVE it in person!
