Navigate to and select the blue ‘Create your gallery’ button or select ‘Register’ at the right top of the screen. This will take you to the ‘Which ArtSteps is right for you?’ page. Selecting 'Sign Up' for Premium, you will be asked to fill out some common fields:

  • Gallery Name.
    Select your gallery name carefully. Try to pick something that describes you since this will be your user name in the ArtSteps community. It appears in your profile URL ( and is unique to you. Your gallery name will appear alongside your exhibitions.
    After signing up, your gallery name cannot be changed. Gallery names can be no shorter than 4 and no longer than 16 characters.
  • Email
    Once you have selected an appropriate username, please provide an email address. We use this to confirm your account before you start running your virtual ArtSteps gallery. We may also use it to contact you for administrative purposes.
  • Password
    Once you have entered your email address, you will be asked to enter a password. Be tricky! Make sure your password contains letters, numbers, and symbols. Please do not use a password based on a word found in the dictionary.
  • Confirm Password
    Once you have entered your password, you will be asked to re-enter it, to ensure that it has not be made a typing mistake.
  • Captcha
    The next step is to prove that you're a human (not a machine!) by typing in the words shown in the Captcha before hitting the "Submit" button.

Once you have filled out the above fields, click Submit. To confirm your registration, you should proceed to the next step. Select the ‘Pay Now’ button and you will be redirected to PayPal in order to complete your registration. Once you have completed your registration, your ArtSteps gallery will be created.
