Upload your images from your computer and store them in your gallery to be exhibited in an upcoming exhibition. Navigate to http://YourGalleryName.artsteps.com
and click ‘Artifacts’ in the upper right hand navigation bar to manage your gallery’s artifacts. You will be taken in the ‘Manage Artifacts’ page with ‘Images’ as the default type of artifacts.
To upload an image, just click ‘add image’. You will be then asked to fill out some fields:
Upload an image from your computer that you wish to exhibit in your ArtSteps gallery.
Create a short and memorable title for your image.
Write a brief description for your artifact. Titles and descriptions of artifacts on view are displayed while users exploring your exhibitions click them.
Enter one or more tags separated by commas. Tags are descriptive words that are stored along with this artifact.
When you have filled the above fields or just the Image and Title, select ‘Save’ and your new artifact will be stored in your gallery.
To edit an image, just click ‘Edit’ under the image whose fields you wish to update. A new window will pop up and you may update the fields that you filled while uploading this image, i.e. title, description, copyrights and tags. Your updates will automatically be applied to each exhibition that this image is displayed. You may also change this image’s dimensions, if it is not displayed in any of your exhibitions. View
To view an image, just click ‘View’ under this image.
